uefn.sh ("the Platform," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use uefn.sh.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Account Information

We offer multiple ways to sign in. Depending on the method you choose, we collect the following:

Discord OAuth:

• Discord user ID, username, and display name
• Discord avatar URL
• Email address (if provided by Discord)

Epic Games OAuth:

• Epic Games account ID and display name

Magic Link Email:

• Email address (provided directly by you)

You may also provide or update your email address directly in your account settings, regardless of your sign-in method.

2.2. Profile Information

Information you voluntarily provide, such as your bio, social links (Twitter, GitHub, Discord server, Fortnite profile, donation link), and uploaded avatar.

2.3. Content & Interaction Data

• Scripts you upload (files stored in cloud storage, metadata in our database)
• Comments, ratings, and reviews you submit
• Favorites and follows (your social graph on the Platform)
• Email notification preferences and newsletter opt-in status

2.4. Usage & Analytics Data

• Pages visited and features used
• Scripts viewed, downloaded, or purchased
• Script view counts and download counts (aggregate analytics)
• Search queries
• Browser type and device information
• Timestamps of actions

2.5. IP Addresses

We log your IP address when you download scripts. This data is used for anti-abuse and anomaly detection purposes and is retained alongside download records.

2.6. AI Analysis of Uploaded Content

Uploaded scripts may be optionally analyzed by an AI service (OpenAI) to generate descriptions, tags, and categorization metadata. The script content is sent to OpenAI for processing. This analysis helps improve discoverability and content quality on the Platform.

2.7. Payment Data

If you buy or sell Content, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We may store transaction IDs, purchase amounts, and payout records for accounting purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you and maintain your account
• Display your profile and content to other users
• Process purchases and seller payouts
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, moderation notices)
• Send optional newsletter and notification emails (with your consent)
• Analyze uploaded scripts using AI to generate descriptions, tags, and metadata
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations (including via IP address logging)
• Improve the Platform through analytics and aggregate usage trends
• Enforce our Terms of Service

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to operate the Platform:

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for:

• Authentication: Session tokens to keep you signed in
• Preferences: Cookie consent status, UI preferences
• Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics (if enabled)

You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account
• Uploaded Content: Retained until you remove it or your account is terminated
• Transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance
• Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

The Platform is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
